The Modern Muskoka Project was a long-awaited dream realized for the homeowners, who had cherished the property for years. Nestled into the distinct granite rock that defines the Rosseau landscape, we collaborated with Attainable Solutions to design and build a 2,000-square-foot cottage that offered the best of both worlds.
Inside, we paired elegant grey slate floors with crisp white walls to create an airy, contemporary feel, while rich cedar accents brought in a natural warmth. This seamless mix of sleek and rustic gives the home its inviting, timeless charm. Large windows flood the space with lake light, while carefully selected furnishings and a thoughtful layout create a retreat that is both calming and luxurious.
Every detail was designed to help the clients unwind, recharge, and feel at home in their modern lakeside haven.
