This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how the personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") you may provide on the aspenandivy.ca website ("Website" or "Service") and any of its related products and services (collectively, "Services") is collected, protected and used. This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you" or "your") and Catherine Staples Design Inc. ("Catherine Staples Design Inc.", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

Automatic collection of information

Our top priority is customer data security and, as such, we exercise the no logs policy. We may process only minimal user data, only as much as it is absolutely necessary to maintain the Website and Services. Information collected automatically is used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding the usage and traffic of the Website and Services. This statistical information is not otherwise aggregated in such a way that would identify any particular user of the system.

You can access and use the Website and Services without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. Billing and payments

In case of services requiring payment, we request credit card or other payment account information, which will be used solely for processing payments. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the latest security standards as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Sensitive and private data exchange happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures, and the Website and Services are also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users. Scans for malware are performed on a regular basis for additional security and protection.

Disclosure of information

Depending on the requested Services or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested, we may share your information with your consent with our trusted third parties that work with us, any other affiliates and subsidiaries we rely upon to assist in the operation of the Website and Services available to you. We do not share Personal Information with unaffiliated third parties. These service providers are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. We may share your Personal Information for these purposes only with third parties whose privacy policies are consistent with ours or who agree to abide by our policies with respect to Personal Information. Retention of information

We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. Once the retention period expires, Personal Information shall be deleted. We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Personal Information through the Website and Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Website and Services without their permission. Shipping & Returns

Shipping and Returns

We currently do not offer shipping as an option for online orders, please contact us directly to inquire or you can choose to pick up at our Barrie store.

We offer free local pick up from our Barrie store. We will contact you when your order is ready and pick up should be made within 7 days of being notified. Storage fees may apply if a product is warehoused for an extended amount of time.


We do our best to feature in stock items but in some instances, products can sell out before we have the chance to update our website. If you purchase an item that is out of stock we will contact you with an estimated stock date. If the date isn't to your liking we will reimburse you 100% and/or suggest a similar in stock item. Please contact us for stock inventory and specific lead times.

 

At Aspen & Ivy, we stand behind the quality of our products.  If you are not satisfied with your purchase please follow the instructions below.
 

  • Within 2 weeks of receipt of delivery, we happily accept returns on goods in their original condition and within their original packaging.

  • All tags must be attached and original receipt included.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • All clearance items are final sale.

  • All custom upholstered furniture is non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages.

  • Once the return is checked and approved, we will issue the refund (as per our policies) using the original method of payment.

Requirements for returning lighting:
 

We only accept a return on non-installed items within 2 weeks of receipt of delivery.
 

The fixture must be in the original packaging.  This includes all original packaging materials and original factory information and paperwork.

The fixture must be packaged exactly as it was shipped.  Any slight variation in the repackaging could cause the piece to be damaged in transit, making the return invalid.

These terms and conditions ("Agreement") set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the aspenandivy.ca website ("Website" or "Service") and any of its related products and services (collectively, "Services"). This Agreement is legally binding between you ("User", "you" or "your") and Catherine Staples Design Inc. ("Catherine Staples Design Inc.", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this Agreement, in which case the terms "User", "you" or "your" shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this Agreement, you must not accept this Agreement and may not access and use the Website and Services. If, in our judgment, your purchase constitutes a high-risk transaction, we will require you to provide us with a copy of your valid government-issued photo identification, and possibly a copy of a recent bank statement for the credit or debit card used for the purchase. We reserve the right to change products and product pricing at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.
 

Accuracy of information

Occasionally there may be information on the Website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, availability, promotions and offers.
