Timeless Interiors for Generational Country Homes.
Mono isn’t just countryside — it’s character. From winding rural roads to long-standing family estates, there’s a calm confidence to life here. Homes are built to last, stories are layered through generations, and every detail tells part of the legacy.
At Aspen & Ivy, we specialize in designing spaces that respect the past while embracing the present. Whether you’re restoring a heritage farmhouse, updating a beloved family home, or crafting a custom estate in Mono’s rolling hills, our interiors feel grounded, thoughtful, and built to evolve over time.
A Legacy Home Reimagined for Modern Living.
The Countryside Estate project was a full renovation of a cherished family home, passed down through generations. Our goal was to maintain its tradition while bringing it into a new era of comfort and elegance.
Key design elements included:
-
Classic millwork and custom ceiling mouldings
-
Layered textures with curated wallcoverings, fabrics, and drapery
-
A soft monochrome palette of warm greys and soothing whites
-
A harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern refinement
This once-dated residence was transformed into a serene, elevated Country Estate — where classic elements like panelled fireplaces and crown detailing live seamlessly alongside clean lines, open sightlines, and fresh textures.
Every decision honoured the home's legacy while creating a space ready for new memories.
Our Design Philosophy in Mono & Beyond
Our approach to countryside design balances history with clarity, and comfort with detail. Whether your home is a recent build or a family heirloom, our process centers on:
-
Respecting natural light, views, and architectural lineage
-
Merging classic silhouettes with fresh materials
-
Designing for longevity and legacy
-
Curating warmth through texture, palette, and craftsmanship
We believe every home should feel like a continuation of your family’s story — timeless, personal, and deeply lived in.
