Our team delivers, installs, and meticulously styles all furnishings and decor, providing you with a luxury concierge-level experience. 

When clients begin a full-service design project with Aspen & Ivy, furniture sourcing and procurement are already built into our process, and it’s an essential part of bringing the vision to life. Once the overall direction, layouts, finishes, and design concepts have been established, our team begins sourcing the pieces that will complete the home. This includes furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, accessories, window coverings, and the many thoughtful layers that make a space feel finished, functional, and deeply personal.

Because Aspen & Ivy is both a full-service interior design studio and a retail furniture showroom, our clients have access to a level of sourcing that goes far beyond what is available through a typical retail shopping experience. Over the years, we have built relationships with trusted vendors, makers, and trade partners whose lines we know well and whose quality we believe in. Many of these pieces are customizable, allowing us to select the right size, fabric, finish, configuration, and details for each individual home.

During the Detailed Design Phase 02, you are guided through all the materials in your construction project so you can confidently select and sign off on all aspects, from building materials to furniture and decor. You will have a clear vision and comprehensive plans for a home design that’s thoughtfully tailored to you.

This is one of the greatest benefits of working with a design studio that also has a showroom. We are not simply choosing from what is available online or what happens to be on a sales floor. We are sourcing intentionally, with the full design in mind. During this phase, our team is considering scale, proportion, durability, comfort, lead times, finishes, construction, budget, and how each item relates to the rest of the home. 

Once selections are approved, our team manages the full procurement process behind the scenes. That means quoting, ordering, tracking, receiving, inspecting, storing, coordinating delivery, and preparing everything for installation. When items arrive, they are carefully inspected for damage, defects, incorrect finishes or fabrics, missing components, or anything that may need to be addressed.

If something arrives damaged, is delayed, discontinued, backordered, or not quite right, our team manages the communication and resolution with the vendor. These are the details that can be time-consuming and stressful when handled alone, but they are part of the service we provide throughout the project. We also warehouse the pieces until the home is ready for installation. This allows us to coordinate a complete and thoughtful install rather than having items arrive randomly over weeks or months. It also means our clients do not need to receive, unpack, inspect, assemble, store, or troubleshoot large furniture deliveries themselves.

On installation day, our team coordinates white-glove delivery, placement, styling, and all of the finishing details. We come prepared with the tools and supplies needed to install a home with care, from protective felt pads on furniture to the careful placement and adjustment of each piece. 

Many retailers offer complimentary design assistance, and for some situations, that can be a helpful service. But retail design support is very different from a full-service interior design process where the entire home is being considered, sourced, managed, installed, and finished as one cohesive vision.
